Somehow in the chaotic haze of our first year of homeschooling I forgot to teach my daughter some basic life skills. It may have been because we don't really every leave the house anymore but I completely forgot to teach Gabby basic emergency phone skills like how to dial my number or who to contact in an emergency. It only crossed my mind that she didn't know this information because she was playing with her dad and yelled "I am going to call 399 on you!" So again I am the case study for a major parenting fail.
